Victor Schneider II, MS

Biography

Victor Schneider HeadshotVictor is a second-year clinical psychology graduate student in the Center for Pain Research and Behavioral Health. He graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago in 2015, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor studies in Music and Philosophy. Before joining the graduate school, Victor coordinated research at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for the lab of Dr. Christopher King, studying pain and sleep in adults with orofacial pain and adolescents with migraine and juvenile fibromyalgia. Victor now researches pain perception and alcohol interactions under the tutelage of Dr. Jeff Boissoneault. He also runs the affiliate branch of the UF Center for Addiction Research and Education (CARE) Podcast, where he interviews graduate students studying addiction in its various forms. Victor completed his Master’s degree in clinical psychology in Spring 2021.
