Sharmagh Aghabeigi, BS

Biography

Sharmagh is a first year graduate student in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology. She graduated from the University of California, IrviHeadshot of Shar Aghabeigine in Spring 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Before joining UF, Sharmagh conducted research in a Learning and Decision Neuroscience laboratory investigating the effects of addiction on perception and motivated behavior. Her current research interests include investigating the role of pain in decision-making related to drug/alcohol use. She now studies under the mentorship of Jeff Boissoneault in the Center for Pain Research and Behavioral Health.
