Biography
Marco’s research interests revolve around populations with co-occurring substance abuse (i.e.,
alcohol use) and mental health disorders (i.e., depression) with a focus on ethnic and cultural factors that may influence treatment outcomes. He is interested in further understanding the etiology and maintenance of comorbid substance use and mental health disorders and utilizing these findings to build interventions to reduce comorbidity.
